We’re looking for an Equity Analyst to join the Aligned Investors team. Aligned Investors is a long-term, fundamental investment team with ~$53bn in AUM across two U.S. equity strategies: Principal MidCap and Principal Blue Chip.
Our approach focuses on investing in high quality businesses with durable competitive advantages that are led by owner-operators and excellent management teams. The analyst team plays a central role in our process through deep, proprietary fundamental research.
This is a generalist role, however having a technology background would be beneficial.

We are willing to hire at various levels based on years and related experience. The base salary range of $141,000 - $285,000 reflects market-specific compensation for this position across multiple job levels. Candidates will be evaluated to determine the appropriate job level based on their skills and experience. In addition to the base pay, you are also eligible for an annual bonus based off performance.

Time Off Program: Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible: No Additional Information:We have a strong preference for this role to be based in Des Moines, IA, where the investment team is located. However, we are open to a remote arrangement or an office from one of our other Asset Management offices (New York, Chicago, Denver, or Seattle). For candidates outside of Des Moines, an initial period working in the Des Moines office will be required, followed by ongoing frequent travel to Des Moines.
