Position:

Rockefeller Global Investment Management (RGIM) provides institutions, financial advisors, and individuals with access to premier investment capabilities, independent portfolio insights, and sophisticated client solutions. In the analyst role, the candidate will focus on the Information Technology sector, conduct industry and company-specific research on a global basis in support of the firm’s investment strategies. The analyst will develop in-depth industry knowledge, perform maintenance coverage on existing positions, identify business inflections and attractive investment opportunities, understand the risk, and return implications of ESG information, and make investment recommendations. Candidates should exhibit intellectual curiosity, effective communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, a passion for investing, and a desire to continuously uncover unique insights.


This role offers significant direct engagement with portfolio managers and influence on global portfolios, and the individual must be a collaborator willing to work closely with other members of the analyst team and portfolio managers. The role will also involve participating in meetings with company management teams, industry experts, sell-side research analysts, and other market participants.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth fundamental research on public companies within the Information Technology sector across geographies and market capitalizations, including analysis of the industry and competitors
  • Maintain research coverage of existing holdings
  • Generate insights to identify business inflections and attractive investment opportunities to make recommendations to the investment team
  • Incorporate ESG factors into the research process
  • Embraces AI as a tool to enhance research and investment decision-making
  • Connect regularly with the Director of Research, portfolio managers and other associates in a collaborative manner
  • Interact with public/private company management teams and industry experts
  • Attend conferences/conference calls and analyst meetings
  • Provide client support to assist sales and marketing effort
Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA preferred
Skills:
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly in written and verbal form
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, high-performance environment
  • Exhibit integrity, responsibility, empathy, enthusiasm and proactivity
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and receptivity to fresh approaches to investing
  • Foreign language a plus
Compensation Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $200,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
