The City of Auburn is seeking a collaborative and strategic Equity, Engagement, & Outreach Program Manager to lead the operations and programs of the Citys Office of Equity, Engagement, & Outreach. This position plays a critical role in advancing the Citys commitment to inclusive community engagement, equitable service delivery, and meaningful partnerships with residents, employees, and community organizations.
Reporting directly to the Mayor, this position provides Citywide leadership by working across departments to support equity and engagement initiatives, developing strategies to ensure broad community participation in City decision-making, and strengthening relationships with historically underrepresented communities.
The Program Manager leads the development and implementation of Citywide equity, engagement, and outreach strategies while ensuring programs are administered in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local civil rights and nondiscrimination laws.
