What is the position? Evercore ISI seeks to hire an Equity Research Associate for its Homebuilding and Building Products equity research team located in New York, NY.

Primary responsibilities:

• Develop and update company-specific and industry financial models
• Perform financial and valuation analyses of covered companies
• Author industry and company-specific research reports
• Closely follow industry and economic trends and oversee data collection
• Leverage AI to improve the team's efficiency and productivity
• Communicate investment ideas to institutional investors
• Other duties as necessary

Specific Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Background in equity research, investment banking, or equity sales preferred
• Exceptional communication skills; this job requires a significant amount of writing and conversations with client/industry counterparts
• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities
• Experience working with AI tools
• Concrete understanding of / demonstrated interest in corporate finance & equity markets
• Bachelor's degree required
• MBA and/or CFA helpful but not required

Expected Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $175,000
