The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care by reviewing physicians' orders for appropriateness of drug ordered, dosage, route, and potential interactions. The Clinical Pharmacist counsels Nurses and Physician about medications and medication-related issues. This position will primarily be based out of the emergency department.
Qualifications
Education: Post Graduate Degree (PHARMD Required)
License / Certification:
OK Pharmacist License and BLS Required
PGY 1 Pharmacy Residency and/or BCPS Certification (within 3 years from date of hire).
PGY 2 in emergency medicine or critical care preferred.
Experience: Emergency Department preferred.
