ER RN

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a facility in Los Angeles, California. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $65 / hour

Shifts Available:

• Minimum of 2 shifts per week as needed
• 12 hours
• Nights weekends and holidays

Nursing Specialty:

• Behavioral ER

Qualifications:

• Ensure that profiles are submitted for RNs who are fully committed to working an ER per diem assignment.
• Required certifications include active RN license, AHA BLS, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to the assignment start date.

Assignment Information:

Is currently in need of highly skilled Registered Nurses (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent Behavioral Health Emergency Room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population. RNs will provide comprehensive care of patients with complex mental health challenges in an emergency room setting. RNs will assess, triage, and stabilize patients experiencing acute psychiatric crisis, often alongside complex medical or traumatic conditions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to mental health and physical assessments, administering psychiatric and emergency medications, implementing de-escalation and safety interventions, and maintaining a secure care environment.
