Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced ER RN (Registered Nurse) to provide high-quality emergency care at a hospital in Hamburg, IA. In this role, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with urgent and emergent conditions. Working in a fast-paced emergency department, you will triage patients, perform focused and comprehensive assessments, initiate and manage IV lines and medications, assist with diagnostic procedures, and collaborate with physicians and the broader interdisciplinary team to stabilize and treat patients. The ER RN will monitor vital signs, interpret EKGs, recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient status, and follow established emergency protocols for trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, sepsis, and other critical situations. You will provide patient and family education, maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record, and ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
