About the Role:

As an ER RN in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, you will provide high-quality emergency and acute care while working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires adaptability, critical thinking, and teamwork, as you may rotate through different nursing units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency nursing care in compliance with hospital policies and standards.
  • Assess, plan, and implement patient care based on individual needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations with sound clinical judgment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for night, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred, but ADN accepted).
  • Current Montana RN license or ability to obtain before hire.
  • BLS (CPR) certification required.
  • ACLS & PALS certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire).
  • TNCC/ENPC required within two years of hire.
  • Experience in Med-Surg or Emergency Nursing preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply that are licensed.
  • Must meet respirator fit testing and medical clearance requirements.

Work Environment:
  • Critical Access Hospital & Emergency Department setting.
  • Requires flexibility and resourcefulness in emergency situations.
  • May involve rotating between different nursing units as needed.
