Erp Business Systems Analyst (ID #540139)

OB SUMMARY: The ERP Business Analyst is responsible for supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) solutions across multiple business and operational areas. They will be tasked with working closely with a Microsoft Dynamics Value-Added Reseller (VAR) to facilitate configuration of basic software and implementation of custom modifications to D365 F&O.

The emphasis is on business-process aptitude and communication skills first and technical aptitude and ERP depth second. The successful candidate will be someone who can sit between users and developers and translate "what we need" into a working spec. They will then possess the follow-through to test and validate the resulting code to verify it actually works. Deep ERP expertise is a plus but process fluency and follow-through are a requirement.

The successful candidate will have strong documentation habits and be comfortable pushing back on end users that are asking for too much. They will display a project coordination instinct to track a request from ask to spec to build/test to rollout and a penchant for motivating the VAR to get things done. Rapidly emerging AI tools are enabling the creation of powerful insights into ERP data and to the creation of custom modules. A candidate with a facility with these tools and an interest in employing is a big plus.
