Job Description

ERP System Analyst

Partner with users in finance, sales, supply chain, inventory, procurement, manufacturing, warehouse operations, and transportation to understand workflows, document pain points and identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into clear technical requirements and scalable solution designs.

Identify practical opportunities for automation, system integration, and AI-assisted workflows, with an emphasis on reducing cycle time, improving accuracy, and increasing responsiveness to the business.

Evaluate proposed changes for business impact, feasibility, scalability, and long-term supportability, providing expert recommendations on solution approach, risks, and expected business outcomes.

Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted technical advisor for assigned business applications, processes, and system functionality.

Design, develop, test, implement, and support scripts, workflows, integrations, reports, dashboards, and business applications that improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and business processes.

Design, implement, and support NetSuite customizations and integrations across ERP, WMS, TMS, NSAW, and related business applications to improve system functionality and business processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, development standards, and long-term business needs.

Design and develop the company's future YMS and other internally developed solutions using reusable, maintainable, and secure development practices.

Research, prototype, and implement approved AI use cases such as developer assistance, requirements interpretation, document and data extraction, intelligent search, exception identification, support triage, and workflow automation.

Integrate approved AI tools and models with enterprise systems through secure APIs and governed data flows while protecting confidential company, customer, vendor, and employee information.

Evaluate AI-enabled solutions for accuracy, security, privacy, auditability, business value, and appropriate human review; clearly document benefits, limitations, and expected outcomes, and provide recommendations regarding adoption, scalability, and ongoing governance.

Use SQL, SuiteAnalytics, NSAW, logs, and system data to investigate issues, validate results, support reporting, and help maintain data accuracy and integrity across integrated systems, while identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities for process and system optimization.

Create and execute test plans, validate changes in non-production environments, assist with user acceptance testing, monitor deployments, troubleshoot issues, and escalate risks when appropriate, ensuring solution quality and minimal business disruption.

Maintain clear technical documentation, process notes, test evidence, and user instructions; explain technical concepts in a practical manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The successful ERP System Analyst should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
