Summary:
Seeking a skilled NETA Testing Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems up to 15 kV. The role involves hands-on field work, technical supervision, and report preparation.
Mandatory: NETA (LEVEL - 2 - 4)
Responsibilities:
- Test and maintain electrical power systems, switchgear, and relays.
- Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and load recording.
- Conduct power system studies (short circuit, coordination).
- Lead field projects and ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
- Support business growth through client engagement and accurate project scoping.
Qualifications:
- BSEE/BSME, technical school graduate, or equivalent military training with relevant field experience.
- Minimum 3–4 years of similar testing experience.
- NETA certification required.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-controlled test equipment.
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel up to 50%.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements:
- Regular lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting of 100 lbs test sets.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and kneel as required.
