    • Build expertise in escrow accounting, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and post-closing operations.
    • Gain exposure to commercial escrow transactions and title insurance processes.

    What You'll Do:

    • Maintain escrow accounts and process disbursements for settlement transactions, earnest money, and escrow terminations.
    • Review daily escrow reconciliations, monitor outstanding balances, and manage interest-bearing escrow subaccounts.
    • Prepare disbursement packages and coordinate electronic recordings (e-recordings).
    • Process escrow and title fee transfers to operating accounts.
    • Perform monthly 1099-S maintenance and annual reporting activities.
    • Maintain escheat records and assist with annual escheat filings.
    • Conduct quarterly file audits and monitor post-closing workflows
    • Assist with commercial escrow order reviews and disbursement instructions.
    • Provide backup support for Escrow Specialists and Closing Coordinators as needed.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Three or more years of experience in one or more of the following: commercial real estate closings (preferred), residential real estate closings, loan processing, accounting, auditing, or commercial title insurance underwriting.
    • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
    • Experience working with business software; SoftPro Select experience is preferred.
    • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze detailed information and manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
    • Ability to recognize potential escrow risks and fraud concerns.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and leadership.
