FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an ESD Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on electrostatic discharge (ESD) control equipment and support compliance with industry and internal quality standards. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the RMA Department in a production and technical support environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.

The ESD Maintenance Technician will maintain and troubleshoot ESD equipment, document preventive maintenance activities, and assist production and engineering teams in ESD-sensitive areas, while supporting the RMA Department as needed.

Responsibilities


  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PM), calibration, and performance verification on ESD ionizers, monitors, fixtures, grounding systems, and flooring.
  • Maintain accurate PM records in compliance with quality system requirements and ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards.
  • Support production in resolving ESD-related process and equipment issues.
  • Work with Field Service Support to troubleshoot and repair ESD equipment across facilities.
  • Fabricate, maintain, and repair jigs, fixtures, and tooling used in ESD-sensitive manufacturing operations.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data from ESD equipment performance checks to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Perform machine calibrations, diagnostics, and functional checks on ESD control devices.
  • Manage preventive maintenance software systems, spare parts inventory, and ordering of replacement materials as needed.
  • Travel between facilities to perform ESD PM activities and support production/engineering teams.
  • Assist with optimization projects to improve ESD control equipment reliability and compliance.
  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with company policies and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in a technical field (electronics, electromechanical, or related discipline) preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year in a technical, maintenance, or manufacturing support role required.
  • Prior experience with ESD control equipment or preventive maintenance preferred.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs; ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift.
