ESL/DL Instructor (FT & PT)

The ESL and DL instructor will play an essential role in helping refugee clients to reach their digital literacy and English proficiency goals by designing and delivering ESL and ESL-Digital Literacy classes, which includes but is not limited to the following duties:

• Conducting activities and lessons based on established teaching methodologies.
• Teaching all classes according to an approved course syllabus
• Designing and teaching basic digital literacy classes
• Maximizing students’ speaking time through oral tests and presentations.
• Displaying excellent classroom management.
• Keeping accurate records of student performance.
• Maintaining standardized guidelines.
• Participating in and contributing to team meetings
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years experience teaching ESL required.

• Previous experience working in a non-profit or government setting, working with immigrants or refugees with limited English proficiency, and previous experience teaching ESL is preferred but not required.
