(With Credits) Step 1: $45,000- Step 13: $47,788

Criteria:
- Assist Multilingual Learners during classroom instruction and small-group activities.
- Support students in understanding classroom assignments, directions, and instructional content.
- Reinforce language development strategies provided by the ESL teacher and classroom teachers.
- Provide individual and small-group academic support under the supervision of certified staff.
- Assist with classroom management and student engagement.
- Support students during assessments as permitted by their instructional plans and state guidelines.
- Help facilitate communication between school and families when appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and information.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's Degree or a minimum of 60 college credits preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Bilingual proficiency preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or other languages represented within the district).
- Demonstrated ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
- Criminal history background check and all state-required clearances.

- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructional plans and teacher direction.
- Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting student success.
- Basic technology skills and familiarity with educational platforms.
