Location: San Jose, CA — Hybrid. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule while maintaining meaningful in-person collaboration with our Bay Area team. Candidates must be based in the Bay Area; this is not a 100% remote opportunity.
Note: Must have 2+ years of directly relevant experience supporting wills, trusts, and estates matters. A J.D. is not required for this position.

Job Description
- Support attorneys with estate planning matters from initial client intake through completion.
- Assist with preparation and organization of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents.
- Coordinate client information and documentation needed to prepare and finalize estate plans.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding document requests, signatures, scheduling, and case status.
- Organize and maintain client files, deadlines, and estate planning records.
- Assist attorneys with trust and estate administration matters as needed.
- Review documents for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and execution requirements.
- Coordinate execution and signing processes for estate planning documents.
- Conduct appropriate legal and factual research to support estate planning matters.
- Help ensure matters move efficiently while maintaining a high level of client service and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal supporting wills, trusts, estates, or estate planning matters.
- Strong understanding of estate planning terminology, documents, and processes.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and client requests.
- Professional, client-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.
- Bay Area based and able to work in a hybrid San Jose environment.
- J.D. is not required.
