We are looking for an Esthetician who can provide professional skincare services to guests of the spa. Candidates must have minimum of 600 hours of education from an accredited aesthetics program and have a State of California aesthetics license to be considered. Minimum of 1-year practical experience in all aspects of skin care. Candidates must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provides guests with professional skin care services including various types of facials
Educates guests about individual skin care needs and sells the appropriate product
Maintains clean and neat facial room during shift; leaves room clean for next shift
Restocks products and lines
Completes a pre-treatment card for each guest
Completes a skin analysis on each guest
Maintains facial equipment and safety of room
Must be able to sell 15% of her/his service dollars in retail
Reports inventory needs
Arrives to work and is clocked in 15 minutes before shift begins and maintains promptness, starting and ending services on time.
Wears proper uniform and is neat and well-groomed
Consistently clocks in and out as required by policy
Practices universal health care protocol while dealing with guests and coworkers
ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
Complies with Spa Treatment Department policies.
Complies with Spa Treatment Department operational procedures
Sets up and breaks down assigned treatment room; maintains neat and well-stocked room
Completes and submits necessary paperwork, checks mailbox and reads posted notices on bulletin board
Attends monthly departmental meetings and workshops as directed
Interacts cooperatively and with consideration towards guests and co-workers
Exercises dependability and willingness to work with schedule flexibility
Maintains physical fitness
Performs other job-related duties as directed.
Adheres to Cavallo Point standards for guest service.
Refers guest problems or complaints to supervisor according to Cavallo Point guest problem resolution policy.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Professional demeanor; and appearance
State of California aesthetics license
600 hours of an accredited aesthetics program
Minimum of 1 year practical experience in all aspects of skin care
Must be able to pass a practical exam and review
Must be flexible, with the ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work independently within a large group and also as a team-player
Advanced training or certification in esthetic program
2-3 years of practical experience in all aspects of skin care preferred
Outside sales training preferred
