Job Summary:
Join our team as an Estimating Scheduler, a critical partner in driving business growth and securing new opportunities across the West and South Sales Regions. In this fast-paced and highly collaborative role, you will serve as the central coordinator of the order pursuit process, ensuring quote opportunities are strategically evaluated and efficiently assigned.
As the first point of review for incoming quote requests, you will assess project opportunities, determine bid viability, evaluate estimating timelines, and allocate work to the appropriate estimator to ensure timely and accurate proposal development. Your ability to balance priorities, manage workflows, and make informed decisions will directly contribute to our success in winning new business and delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will:
Understand Customer Pricing Request; plans and specifications, material lists, simple take-offs requiring application revisions
Selecting the proper documents/ materials for lead review
Creation of Electronic folders/ printouts for lead review
Maintain schedule and database through level loading
Assist lead in bid/no-bid selectivity
Confirm with customer and/or sales regarding scheduling of requests
Coordinate with Engineering department for schedule of engineering review
Coordination with other Kawneer facilities for package pricing for multiple products
Create estimates with KaluCAD

You have: (required)
High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
2 years of experience estimating construction projects utilizing architectural plans, list of materials and/or take-offs received from customers
Familiarity of estimating software
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Exceptional Candidates also have: (preferred)
Associate''s or Bachelor''s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited institution
2+ years of experience with architectural systems products, external facades, or curtain wall
2+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects
Experience with KaluCad
Experience with not only performing estimates but also scheduling/assigning work to other estimators
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple quote requests and competing priorities.
Desire to learn quickly, be self-motivated and think through processes independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering timely, high-quality results.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while contributing to team success.
