For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $23.00 - $26.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Estimating Specialist
ResponsibilitiesJOB DESCRIPTION
Estimating Specialist
- Review plans and specifications to prepare accurate project estimates.
- Create quotes and material takeoffs for contractors and customers.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams throughout the estimating process.
- Maintain detailed project records and follow up on opportunities in the CRM system.
- Manage multiple estimates and deadlines while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring as an Estimating Specialist:
- Estimating experience in construction, building materials, millwork, or a related industry.
- Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and reading plans/specifications.
- Strong math, computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with CRM systems, follow-up, and recordkeeping.
- Material takeoff experience and familiarity with millwork pricing software are a plus.
