About the Role

We are hiring an Insurance and Construction Estimator to write and sell restoration and construction work across Southern California. This is not a desk job. The right person is comfortable in the field, in front of clients, and actively looking for the next opportunity rather than waiting for one to land in their inbox.

You will write estimates on work brought in by our sales team, and you are encouraged to bring and grow your own book of business.

What You Will Do

• Perform on site inspections and scope losses across residential and light commercial projects
• Write accurate, defensible estimates in Xactimate and negotiate scope with carriers, adjusters, and property owners
• Identify upsell opportunities and convert scoped work into signed jobs
• Develop and maintain your own client relationships, including agents, property managers, and building owners
• Coordinate with sales and production to move jobs from inspection through completion
• Participate in weekly WIP meetings and keep job documentation current

What We Are Looking For

• Estimating experience in property damage restoration, insurance repair, or construction
• Proficiency in Xactimate. Experience with DocuSketch, Matterport, or 3D scanning technology is a plus
• Ability to sell, not just estimate. This role requires someone who will knock on doors and generate their own opportunities
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods across a range of trade work
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
• Commission paid on closed sales, with no minimum margin requirement
