Job Description
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project scope and requirements.
- Identify and source materials, labor, and equipment costs for projects.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and ensure timely submission.
- Review and update cost estimates based on project changes or developments.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor market trends and construction industry developments to refine estimating processes.
- Support project teams during pre-construction and project execution phases.

The Successful Applicant
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials in commercial and municipal projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation tools and software.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Experience in the business services industry, specifically in construction.
