Analyze construction plans, specifications, and drawings to define project scope
Perform quantity takeoffs, review vendor/subcontractor quotes, and develop accurate estimates using historical data
Participate in pre-bid meetings, bid strategy, client interviews, and presentations
Communicate and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Solicit, evaluate, and prequalify subcontractors/suppliers; distribute project documents to bidders
Support preconstruction and design-assist efforts; contribute to plan reviews and project handoffs
Identify value engineering opportunities and research innovative methods, materials, and solutions
Build and maintain subcontractor relationships to strengthen bid coverage and outcomes
Assist in developing and executing winning bid strategies
Complete additional estimating-related tasks as directed

Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
3+ years estimating experience with demonstrated leadership in estimates
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of construction building means and methods
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
