Job Description
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements and costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to assess project needs and budgets.
- Identify and evaluate risks, providing solutions to minimize cost overruns and project delays.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and quality materials.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates and cost analyses.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction techniques to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
- Support the team in preparing bids and proposals for new projects.
