Senior Commercial Drywall Estimator

A well-established and highly respected commercial wall and ceiling contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Drywall Estimator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience estimating commercial drywall, metal stud framing, and acoustical ceiling projects while building strong relationships with general contractors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, estimates, bids, and proposals for commercial drywall projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Develop competitive pricing for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers and operations teams during project handoff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Assist with value engineering and budgeting throughout the preconstruction process.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of commercial drywall estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceilings.
• Experience preparing detailed takeoffs and competitive bid proposals.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience working directly with general contractors.
• Proficiency with OST, QuickBid, Bluebeam, or comparable estimating software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
