Estimator **Concrete**

We are searching for an experienced Concrete Estimator to join the team of an extremely well-respected, well-established GC with projects throughout the metro NY & tri-state areas.

Candidate must have the following to be considered:

- Must be experienced in working with commercial buildings

-Must have a documented record of working with large corporations, private sector, etc.- Minimum of (5-7) years relevant experience (project management / estimating/ concrete/ site work/ etc)- Must have strong knowledge of commercial concrete and sitework- Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications- Must be able to perform take-offs- Must have STRONG computer experience with all industry specific current softwares as well as Excel, etc.- Must have EXCELLENT communication skills, WRITTEN & VERBAL

Position Description:Manage multiple projects simultaneouslyComprehensive plan, scope and specification review prior to constructionPerform supplier / subcontractor leveling and buyoutInitiate any RFI's, Change Orders, etc., throughout projectCoordinate with Project Supers to develop schedules and look aheadsPrepare monthly requisitions for each projectPerform site visits as necessaryAttend meeting with clients / owners as necessaryReport to upper management any relevant issues / concerns or information
