Description
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial interiors and retail projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analysis
- Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks
- Collaborate with Preconstruction, Operations, and Project Management teams during the bidding process
- Assist in preparing proposals and bid submissions
Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial interiors and/or retail construction
- Experience working for a General Contractor
- Strong understanding of construction costs, methods, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documents
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Experience with estimating software, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools preferred
