Estimator – Division 10 Specialties Locations: Charleston, SC | Columbia, SC | Charlotte, NC | Savannah, GA
About the Opportunity We’re partnered with a growing commercial contractor that specializes in interior and specialty construction scopes. As their pipeline continues to expand, they are looking to add an Estimator – Division 10 Specialties to support preconstruction and bidding efforts.

Position Overview The Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive bids for Division 10 scopes across a variety of commercial projects. You’ll work closely with vendors, project teams, and general contractors to ensure complete and well-defined proposals.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for Division 10 scopes (Toilet partitions, accessories, lockers, operable partitions, fire protection specialties, visual display boards, etc.) Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define scope and identify risks Solicit, evaluate, and level vendor and subcontractor pricing Develop scope clarifications, exclusions, and value engineering options Coordinate with GCs, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the bid process Manage multiple estimates in a deadline-driven environment Maintain organized estimate files and cost databases Assist with project handoff to operations upon award Qualifications 2+ years of estimating experience in construction (Division 10 or interiors preferred) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Excel and general computer applications Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience Direct experience with Division 10 products and vendors Familiarity with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field Work Environment Primarily office-based with occasional site visits or pre-bid meetings Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities within estimating and preconstruction Why This Role Opportunity to specialize in a high-demand construction niche Join a growing company with a strong project pipeline Clear path for advancement and skill development Equal Opportunity Employer This company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to protected status.
