Estimator – Drywall & Metal Framing

A well-established subcontractor specializing in metal framing and drywall is seeking an Estimator to join their growing team. This company delivers high-quality work on commercial projects and is known for its strong pipeline and team-oriented culture.

Position Overview:
The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial drywall and metal framing projects. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and experienced in handling large-scale project estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for metal framing and drywall projects
• Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing using industry software
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Assist with bid reviews and project handoffs to operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of estimating experience in drywall and/or metal framing
• Experience estimating multi-million-dollar commercial projects
• Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and QuickBooks (QB)
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $50,000 – $75,000 (based on experience) + bonuses 
• Paid healthcare
• Vehicle allowance
• 401(k) offered after 1 year of employment
