This role requires a deep understanding of project costing, commercial construction, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project estimation and bidding, material take off (MTO), and construction management. Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed analysis of project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and time requirements.
• Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates and bids.
• Conduct thorough material take offs (MTO) to determine project requirements.
• Leverage expertise in commercial construction and blueprint reading to deliver high-quality project estimations.
• Utilize industry-specific software such as Bluebeam and PROCORE to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in the negotiation process with clients and suppliers to secure profitable contracts.
• Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Continually monitor industry trends and advancements to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in project estimation, bidding, and construction management.
• Proficiency in using industry-specific software such as Bluebeam and PROCORE.
• Solid understanding of commercial construction, blueprint reading, and material take off (MTO).
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing profitable contracts.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and competitive project estimates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry trends and advancements.
• Professional certification in project estimation or construction management will be an added advantage.
