We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Estimator-Electrical to join our vibrant team in the construction industry. This role is instrumental in our company's ongoing success and growth, as you will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating accurate electrical estimates for a variety of construction projects. These include Design Build, Commercial, Mission Critical, Healthcare, Public Works, and Industrial sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in electrical estimation who wants to make a significant impact within a thriving organization.
Responsibilities:
As a Estimator-your primary responsibilities will include:
Estimator who can independently manage the entire estimating process from initial takeoff through final proposal and bid submission. We’re looking for someone who can take full ownership of their estimates with minimal oversight. Experience with Design-Build projects would be a strong plus.
1. Developing precise, competitive, and detailed electrical estimates for a variety of projects within the construction industry.
2. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand the scope and requirements of each project.
3. Reviewing and interpreting electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications.
4. Performing risk and contract management assessments to ensure profitable and successful project outcomes.
5. Providing technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and codes to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
7. Preparing and presenting detailed cost reports and estimates to stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Estimator-Electrical role should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical estimation within the construction industry.
2. Proven expertise in Design Build, Commercial, Commercial Electric, Mission Critical, Healthcare, Public Works, and Industrial sectors.
3. A solid understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
4. Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
5. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
