Description

The Estimator - Federal Projects - Myrtle Beach will be responsible for:

    • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction projects
    • Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify project requirements
    • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
    • Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontract costs
    • Assist with bid preparation, proposal development, and project presentations
    • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams during preconstruction
    • Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information
    • Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions

Profile

The Estimator - Federal Projects - Myrtle Beach should have:

    • 6+ years of estimating experience within the construction industry
    • Experience working for a general contractor preferred
    • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
    • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
