You Are:

• EXPERIENCED: Extensive industry knowledge and experience preparing estimates with industrial mechanical fire alarm systems; design background and NICET certification, with the ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints; CAD/BIM knowledge preferred
• ANALYTICAL: Critical thinker with strong attention to detail; ability to understand and translate plans and designs to varied levels of audiences
• ADAPTABLE: Quickly adjusts to a changing environment and handles multiple priorities under time constraints
• A COMMUNICATOR: Effectively communicate and present both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences
• A SELF-STARTER: Work independently; both goal-oriented and customer-oriented

What You'll Do:

• ESTIMATE: Plans and prepares accurate and timely estimates; completes data management requirements; and evaluates and determines labor, material, and time requirements to compute the overall cost of the project
• CRUNCH THE NUMBERS: Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness
• BE PRECISE: Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future variances between estimated and actual costs
