They pride themselves in their amazing culture as everyone knows each other by name and they are committed to supporting and growing their employees.Job DescriptionAnalyze construction plans, specifications, and drawings to define project scopePerform quantity takeoffs, review vendor/subcontractor quotes, and develop accurate estimates using historical dataParticipate in pre-bid meetings, bid strategy, client interviews, and presentationsCommunicate and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsSolicit, evaluate, and prequalify subcontractors/suppliers; distribute project documents to biddersSupport preconstruction and design-assist efforts; contribute to plan reviews and project handoffsIdentify value engineering opportunities and research innovative methods, materials, and solutionsBuild and maintain subcontractor relationships to strengthen bid coverage and outcomesAssist in developing and executing winning bid strategiesComplete additional estimating-related tasks as directedMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
