The Junior Estimator will assist in reviewing construction documents, identifying projects and scopes that align with Teltron's capabilities, performing material and labor takeoffs, obtaining vendor pricing, preparing estimates, and developing professional proposals.


 A key responsibility of this position is to identify scopes of work for which Teltron can and should pursue bidding opportunities, including structured cabling, fiber optics, network infrastructure, data center infrastructure, access control, audiovisual, security, and related technology systems.


 The Junior Estimator will work closely with Teltron management, project managers, field technicians, general contractors, electrical contractors, engineers, architects, vendors, and clients

REQUIRED SKILLS

·       1–3 years of experience in construction, estimating, telecommunications, low-voltage, electrical,  
        technology infrastructure, or a related field; equivalent education or field experience may be considered.
·       Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.
·       Basic understanding of construction materials and installation methods.
·       Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
·       Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
·       Strong organizational and time-management skills.
·       Excellent attention to detail.
·       Ability to meet bid deadlines.
·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.
