Estimator PositionA full-service general contracting firm located on the west side of Kansas City is seeking a strong Estimator to grow and develop with their resources and expertise. They focus primarily on multifamily and commercial projects, up to $40M in value.Job DescriptionPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine necessary resources.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to support project needs.Monitor market trends and pricing to provide up-to-date cost data.Assist in preparing project proposals and presentations for stakeholders.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
