Job Description
The Estimator will be responsible for:
- Preparing detailed estimates for large-scale commercial and multifamily projects
- Analyzing drawings, specifications and scope to develop accurate budgets
- Collaborating closely with preconstruction, project management and leadership
- Supporting negotiated work with trusted, repeat clients (no hard bidding)
- Participating in value engineering and cost optimisation discussions
- Assisting with preconstruction planning for projects from $30M-$100M+

The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- 5-7+ years of experience as an Estimator within a GC or builder-developer
- Background in commercial construction; multifamily experience strongly preferred
- Experience estimating projects valued at $30M+
- Strong understanding of cost modelling, take-offs and subcontractor pricing
