Estimator - Multifamily - D.C.

The Estimator - Multifamily - D.C. will be responsible for:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting and project planning.
  • Sourcing and evaluating bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Maintaining and updating cost databases to ensure accurate and current pricing information.
  • Assisting in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
  • Preparing and presenting cost reports and summaries to stakeholders.
  • Monitoring ongoing projects to ensure adherence to the approved budget and address any discrepancies.

The Estimator - Multifamily - D.C. should have:

  • 5+ years in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction.
  • Multifamily project experience preferred
  • Must be able to quickly and accurately review plans and evaluate drawings.
  • Familiarity with local jurisdictions, codes and review processes a plus.
  • Superior attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

The Estimator - Multifamily - D.C. may receive:

  • Base compensation up to $130k+ (based on previous experience)
