Estimator

The Estimator will oversee estimating operations for commercial mechanical construction projects, primarily focused on schools, manufacturing facilities, and large commercial buildings. This role involves preparing accurate project estimates, reviewing specifications, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and helping ensure projects are bid competitively and profitably.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems within commercial construction and is comfortable managing multiple bids and deadlines. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare estimates for commercial plumbing, heating, and HVAC projects

• Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents

• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing

• Manage bid timelines and proposal preparation

• Support project planning and budgeting processes

• Help oversee and organize estimating department operations

• Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project requirements

Qualifications:

• Prior estimating experience in commercial construction required

• Experience with plumbing, heating, or HVAC projects preferred

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

• Detail oriented with strong problem solving abilities

• Leadership potential and ability to oversee estimating operations preferred

• Strong communication and coordination skills
