About the Role

We're seeking a driven Pipeline Estimator who wants toadvance into a full-scope project estimator gaining hands-on experienceacross all disciplines of estimating. You will join a highly respectedestimating department that boasts 35 years of collective expertise, workingside-by-side with senior estimators who will mentor your development.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be involved in the full estimating lifecycle fromconceptual pricing through bid day finalization and turnover to operations.
You will:

  • Perform quantity takeoffs, develop pricing, and assemble detailed estimates for pipelines and pump stations
  • Conduct pre-bid site visits to assess existing conditions prior to bid submission
  • Participate in project strategy, preconstruction planning, and value-engineering efforts
  • Analyze plans, specifications, addenda, and geotechnical data to identify cost, risk, and opportunity items
  • Develop and refine cost histories, production rates, and self-perform assumptions for continuous improvement
  • Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to solicit, level, and evaluate competitive quotes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support bid reviews and pre-proposal planning sessions
  • Grow into leading complete bid assemblies, ultimately taking ownership of full project estimates
Every project presents unique technical and logistical challenges, givingyou the exposure needed to advance into a top-tier estimator in thewater/wastewater industry.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline
  • Estimating experience in heavy civil, water/wastewater, or related self-perform construction preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook)
  • Strong analytical, plan-reading, and takeoff skills with a passion for learning complex water and wastewater systems
  • A collaborative mindset with the desire to grow into a lead estimator role
