Estimator/Planner - Commercial Flooring

Shaw Industries is looking for an Estimator & Planner to join our Custom Design Studio! This person will provide our account executives, client, project designer, and carpet installer with the information, documents and carpet installation/ seaming plans to correctly order and install hospitality and commercial carpet.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Qualifications: 

• High SchoolDiploma/GEDrequired 

• 1+years of proven estimating/planning experiencerequired 

• Minimum of 3 days a week in the Cartersville, GA office required

• Demonstrated AutoCAD/Revit knowledge required

• Ability to read and interpretarchitectural floor plansand specificationsrequired 

• Strong mathematical skills,includingfractions, measurements,accuratelyreading and scalingarchitecturalunitsrequired 

• Proficiency ingeometric concepts needed to scale,measure, and draftprofessionalqualityplansrequired 

• Familiarity with Microsoft365required 

Preferred: 

• Bachelor's Degree

• 4+ years of proven estimating/planning experience 

• General knowledge of the floor covering industry 

• Basic understanding of Photoshop

• Adobe Creative Cloud 

• Salesforce
