Manufacturing | Cross‑Functional | ERP‑Driven
Position Summary
The Estimator/Planner plays a key role in translating customer requirements into accurate cost estimates and executable production plans. This position partners closely with engineering, purchasing, production, and sales to ensure materials, machines, and labor are aligned to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating

Review and interpret customer drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Develop detailed cost estimates including materials, labor hours, and production steps
Build bills of material and labor routings to support accurate quoting

Production Planning

Create and maintain comprehensive build packages to support efficient production flow
Coordinate with purchasing to identify and source material quantities per customer requirements
Determine required machines, processes, and manpower to execute jobs successfully

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in estimating and/or production planning within a manufacturing environment (fabrication, textiles, or similar industries preferred)
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience working in ERP/MRP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Solid mathematical and cost analysis skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
