Responsibilities include developing cost estimates by analyzing labor, materials, and equipment, preparing bid proposals, leading bid reviews, and supporting business development.
The position requires attending project buyouts, facilitating project handoffs, and assisting with change orders.
Building strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients is essential, along with supporting recruitment and onboarding of team members.
Operational support includes incorporating safety into estimating and improving future estimates through production data review.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields, with at least 5 years of estimating experience in concrete construction. Skills in blueprint reading, critical thinking, communication, and independent yet collaborative work are essential.
