The Estimator role involves providing accurate project estimates of medium size and complexity, either independently or with team support.
Essential qualifications include knowledge of electrical construction and theory through training, a technical degree, or two years of estimating experience.
Candidates should have industry experience, strong communication and confidentiality skills, and proficiency in conceptual and financial estimates.
Responsibilities include performing takeoffs, reviewing vendor/subcontractor quotes, preparing bid summaries, gathering pre-bid information, and assisting with bid presentations.
Additional duties include participating in planning meetings, following bid procedures, and performing related tasks.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license; background and drug tests may be required.
