Estimator
Location: Whittier, CA
Pay: $29.00–$32.00/hr. (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Estimator for a manufacturing company in Whittier, CA. This position is responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, sourcing materials, reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, and supporting procurement activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates from drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Analyze material, fabrication, and production costs.
- Source materials and negotiate with suppliers.
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing teams.
- Maintain estimating, pricing, and purchasing records.
- Track purchase orders and vendor performance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of estimating or purchasing experience.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
