Regional School District #10 Anticipated Vacancies- Extended School Year Summer 2026

Regional School District #10 is looking to build its pool of staff for its extended school year (ESY) program, for the summer of 2026. The ESY program will take place at Har-Bur Middle School.

*Related services positions may not need to work full session hours. Need will be based on student enrollment.

Qualifications: (certified)

Connecticut Certification for appropriate area, PreK-12

(noncertified)

Experience working with students with disabilities, as well as meeting educational, training or licensing requirements for position applying for.

Population: Includes students with learning disabilities, OHI, autism, intellectual disability, speech/language disability, emotional disturbance, multiple disabilities

Salary:

$6,000 ESY Supervisor

$60 per hour certified/licensed staff/PT 7/1/2026 per hour pay rate COTA & RN

$25 per hour non-certified Support Staff (Para/BT**) + 30 minutes of paid prep time per day

Services:

Provide instruction according to student IEPs.

Collect daily attendance.

Collect progress monitoring data and submit end-of-session progress reports.

**Paraeducators must provide official transcripts for an associates degree or the completion of 60 college credits or show proof of passing the ParaPro exam with a score of 457 or higher. Behavior Techs. must also show proof of completing the 40 hours of Registered BT training.
