Position: Special Education Teacher (Extended Day - ESY)
Qualifications: Proper Connecticut teacher certification in Special Education (065 112 or 113) is required. Extensive experience with developmentally disabled children and autism spectrum disorder is preferred.
Responsibilities: • Provide small and whole group instruction • Work collaboratively with related service provider • Progress monitor progress toward goals and objectives • Complete progress reports at the completion of ESY case management
Terms of Employment: The position will begin on July 1, 2026, and end on July 23, 2026. The work schedule will be Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.
Salary: The salary will be in accordance with the Agreement Between The Board of Education And The Avon Education Association, Section 51.11 hours.
