RE:2026 Special Education: Extended School Year Positions- Nurses
The following summer positions are being advertised for Special Education Extended School Year Summer Programs, pending approval of the FY'27 school department budget.
DATES OF ESY PROGRAM: JULY 6-AUGUST 6, 2026
Locations: Kennedy, Plouffe, and Brockton High school
Brockton High School (6-12) 7:30am-11:30am
Plouffe (K-5) 8:00am-12:00pm
Kennedy (PK) 9:00am-1:00pm
Job description: to care for the students attending the ESY attending to their medical needs, giving medications, treatments, and triaging ill visits.
Qualifications:
Board certified nurses
Experience as a school nurse or pediatric nurse
Must commit to work the entire program or job share
All staff must start 15 minutes before the program starts and remain 15 minutes after the program ends.
Funding according to contracted rate
All Nurses must have an updated CORI on file.
