The following summer positions are being advertised for Special Education Extended School Year Summer Programs, pending approval of the FY27 school department budget.
DATES OF ESY PROGRAM: JULY 6 to August 6 (Times vary depending on position)
LOCATION: Kennedy Elementary
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS (8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) (Up to 30.) Preference will be given to teachers with experience in working with students with autism spectrum disorder, emotional impairments, city resource room, life skills, and integrated teachers.
PARAPROFESSIONALS (8:45 a.m.- 1:15 p.m.) (Up to 90, including 1:1) Preference will be given to paraprofessionals with experience working at the Pre-K/K level in substantially separate and integrated classrooms.
RELATED SERVICE PROVIDERS: (8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) 2 BCBA; 1 Therapeutic Support, 1 SLP/SLPA; 1 OT/OTA; 1 Adapted Phys Ed Teacher
Teachers and related service providers: Up (22) days, 5 hrs/day at contract rate oTeacher preparation and planning hours must be approved by ESY Coordinator
Support staff: 21 days, 4.5 hrs/day at contract rate Van monitor is per hour rate
All Staff must have an updated CORI on file and may be required to complete the following duties: Lifting & Toileting
