Electrical Test operator takes care of all the operations need to electrically test the PCB including Open/Short test and TDR measurements and Troubleshooting.
Load and unload the machine with precision alignment.
Prepare and load flying-probe test files per customer data and engineering requirements.
Create and configure TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) measurement files for impedance testing.
Operate flying probe testers to perform continuity, isolation, and impedance tests on PCB panels.
Troubleshoot failed boards by analyzing test results and identifying true electrical defects versus test/program issues.
Able to read design blueprints and understand the CAM files for troubleshooting.
Mark and document faulty locations on panels for repair or further analysis.
Maintain accurate records of all testing activities, including results, failures, and re-tests, in the database/MES system.
Follow testing priorities and instructions provided by process engineers and supervisors.
Ensure all test equipment is functioning properly; perform basic maintenance and report issues promptly.
Keep the test area organized, clean, and compliant with safety and process standards.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
