Job Summary:
The Ethics Analyst/Auditor plays a key role in supporting the Integrity Officer and advancing the institution's mission by promoting adherence to ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and NYS Public Officers Law. This position is responsible for reviewingand assessing disclosures for potential conflicts of interest and ethics-related concerns; conducting fact-finding and documenting findings; and preparing clear, well-supported investigative reports. The role also assists with policy updates, supports ethics education and training efforts, and collaborates with HR, Legal, and other partners on cross-functional matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors in healthcare/business administration or related field with 3 years relevant experience required. Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and organization skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) or certified compliance ethics professional (CCEP) preferred. Experience in an academic medical institution, medical practice, or auditing background preferred. Ability to interpret and apply Federal & State regulatory standards; and high proficiency in various computer applications (MS Word & Excel) preferred. Ethics background, public speaking and experience with the investigation process preferred.
